"Encircling Spaces"

Created specifically for the Rotunda Galleries at the Gibbes Musuem of Art, "Encircling Spaces," focused on the architectural features of the Rotunda -- the height of the ceiling, the Tiffany-inspired dome and the airiness and sacred feeling of the space. Through the incorporation of birds' nests, pinestraw, nuts, wisteria, and other natural materials, the installation gave the sense that nature had temporarily reclaimed interior space.
