"Loco Motion: A Carriage Migration"

The installation/performance "Loco Motion: A Carriage Migration" was commissioned for two 2008 ArtWalk Spartanburg events held in Spartanburg, SC. The installation was about the tension between being stuck in the past and/or choosing to move forward despite physical obstacles. The performance involved the movement of oddly altered baby carriages from an old, empty building, through the downtown gallery district, reaching their final destination at the Spartanburg Art Museum.
